The Arlo wireless cameras have been wonderful. I give Netgear high marks for design and ease of set-up and installation. The app, however, has very troubling deficiencies--the primary one being that it now often does not populate on demand. It is very disturbing to be away from home and not be able to use the app to view recorded and live videos. Today I reset the base station hoping that might help actuate the app, but there was no positive outcome. Only after I logged in to arlo.com through my notebook computer and viewed on of the cameras did my cell phone app begin to function. I do not want to have to log in through arlo.com all the time, so please address this problem immediately. But for others whose iOS apps are non-responsive, you might try logging in through arlo.com and see if that helps.
Larger and darker fonts on the app would make for a much improve user experience.

I was hoping for a response from an Arlo employee expert. My iOs app will not display my cameras. Instead the screen reads "Getting status..."
and the Mode screen reads "Getting information". The notebook computer log-in outlined in the IP has not corrected the problem. Ignoring a user's problem does not correct it, Arlo!

I have also tried to get "bug fixes" through the Apple App store update. When I "Open" the app, it goes to the camera screen with the "Getting status..." display.

tulum,
Do you see this behavior regardless of the network you are trying to connect from? For example do you see "getting status" on both a wireless 3g/4g connection and your home WiFi connection? What model iphone/iOS are you running?

Thank you for replying, James C. I am usually at home when I attempt to access the Mode function so that I can turn off interior/and or exterior cameras, but I have had difficulty getting the app to respond/populate away from wi-fi using 4G on my iPhone 5s using version 9.2 (13C75) software. I find it confounding that when I attempt to open arlo.com using the iPhone's Safari, I only get a page instructing me to download the app which I am trying to work around!

Stensoe, I used to be able to turn the phone off and on and get the app to respond, but when the app is on the blink now I can turn it off and on any number of times and there is no resolution.
