Can I zoom in while viewing the livestream from my iphone?

Not iPhone literate but generally with Android and PC, no. You can switch to full screen but that's it. Record and download the video and you can do whatever software allows you to do.

Zoom, no. The only thing you can do is expand the window, turn your phone to landscape and view it that way. That's the largest image you'll be able to see.

You used to be able to do this with their previous Vuezone system and it worked pretty well.

Us previous Vuezone customers are hoping Netgear brings this functionality to the Arlo system.
