This is not user friendly, I log in to look at cameras and if my wife logs in it kicks me out...

Have your wife create her own Arlo account with her own email address. Grant her account access to your Arlo system. (See “Grant“ section under Settings). Then, you both will be able to be logged in simultaneously, though some configuration settings she won't be able to access.

But the important stuff like viewing live view and video clips, changing modes and getting alerted will work.
