Of our 10 wireless cameras, there is one that gets set off so often that it's just not feasible to keep it charged, though we do require a camera pointed in that position. We already invested so much in the wireless versions that we can't switch to wired ones. Is there a way to wire one of the wireless cameras? Can we use the charger plugged into an extension cord run along the ceiling, if nothing else? I didn't realize the battery would be dying every other day and it's difficult for me to lug around and climb a giant ladder as a disabled person.

Yes, it would seem your idea would work on Arlo Pro Camera. That's essentially what I've done.
I got a 20 ft all weather USB cable, drilled thru garage gable, plugged USB wire w/ Arlo adapter into an extension cord, into a power outlet in garage attic.

If the camera is indoors, definitely look at running it on full time AC power
