Arlo developers are pretty audacious in insisting that my phone vibrate with notifications rather than making it optional. Extremely arrogant and inconsiderate. May all your karma for this be in the form of bad luck.

I want the push, not the vibration. It causes issues.

The push is from Netgear...the vibration is an option to turn off in your phone...has nothing to do with the Arlo

This is incorrect (on Android phones at least). Android allows you to override an app's notification on/off, priority level, privacy, and the DEFAULT sound and vibration intensity, but it's up to the app itself to allow the user to change the alert sound for that app only, and whether or not to vibrate.

The Android global settings would change the sound and vibration for all apps...which is not the point.

Open the app and force a stop...clear the cache and then reboot the phone.

If that doesn't work, uninstall app, reboot phone, reinstall app

Android 6.3 on motorola droid maxx 2 - there's no global vib control. Can toggle it for phone calls only, and there's no intensity control. So until the arlo app has a vib off option...

Ok, netgear. It's the only thing that makes my phone vibrate.
