I live in a northern climate. The temp outside will get to -30
Fahrenheit.
I moved my cameras indoors but found out that motion detection doesn't work through glass. What are my options??

Arlo operation temps are (-10° C to 50° C) -30C is well outside that specification, battery life in that climate would aslo be subpar. Protect you investment and keep them indoors until the temps change.

You might consider the new Q cameras which will detect through glass but you'll need outdoor lighting since the built-in IR illuminators will reflect off the glass.
