I stopped getting alerts on my phone and don't get emails of motion alerts either. I reset the Arlo router but otherwise have not changed any settings. My app shows the latest download? What next?

Try and go to the settings in your phone and under Arlo app, Force a STOP and then clear the cache, then exit.
Restart/reboot your phone and see if that helps
If NG, you may have to delete the app and re-install same
