Just installed Arlo today and I'm very pleased.  However, I seem to be having a problem trying to use the Schedule. A calendar is supposed to display when the Schedule is turned on. This seems to work when using the Android app on my phone, but nothing displays when using my laptop or desktop browser (Safari, Chrome or Firefox). Any suggestions?

Hello hokeysmoke,

Have you tried to deactivate the base station from the account and reclaiming it?

Log in > Settings > Base Station Settings > Deactivate (Base Station should go off line and then be claimable.) You will need to re-sync all of your cameras again after this deactivation

Claim base station

Log into your account > Settings > Subscription > Base Station > Add Base Station

Re-sync your cameras and check to see if schedule appears.

Also try clearing cache then refreshing browser

Let me know if this worked for you

Good evening DaveL,

We have had a small handful of reports such as yours. The best way to resolve this is to actually reset the base station. Please follow the steps below while in the same location as the base station. This process should only take a few minutes.

  1. Do a simple reset by using a paper clip to press the reset button on the base station for 10 seconds or until all the LEDs on the base station blinks amber.
  2. Your base station will then perform the reset and reboot itself. Please wait until the Power and Internet LED turn solid green.
  3. Resync the cameras as instructed in the quick start guide (one at a time).

You can then log into your Arlo account where you should see the new default modes “All Motion On” and “All Motion Off”. You should then be able to turn on the schedule and see the calendar appear as expected.

For good measure you should also enable “Auto Update FW” (Firmware) under Settings > Base Station settings. I encourage you to enable this setting and restart your base station on more time to download the latest firmware.

Please let me know if you are still unable to set the modes schedule.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Best Regards,

Christine

I've reset my base station many times, but can only see the calendar in my phone app.  I've never seen it in my browser (Chrome).

I see the same behavior in both Chrome and Internet Explorer 11.  This is with Windows 8.1.

I'd file a report through Netgear and get a support file started... it from above appears to be a known problem and from a tech call there may be other reasons/answers other than a reset of the base.

good luck

David, thank you.  Deactivating and reactivating it fixed the issue.  It also changed the modes from "Home and Awake" and "Sleeping" to "All motion on" and "All motion off" which are clearer descriptions of what's happening.

I cant believe i paid 600$ for this "reset" **bleep**. Ive owned this system for less then a month and its one headache after the next. As an engineer how about Arlo get off their ass and actually adjust the java script
