The videos saved by the first intallation of the app on Android phone still exist on the phone. However, after new installation of the app, I cannot view them anymore. What is this nonsense? Anyone run into this before and have a solution to enable me to view these old videos and to copy them off the phone to a computer?
I'm getting a permissions error for what it's worth.

I'm having the same issues. Ever since the new app was loaded, I cannot retrieve my old saved videos. I cannot even save new videos "download" without receiving the message user access denied. I prefer the previous app, much simpler.

Would it be possible for either of you to post a screenshot of the error message you are receiving?

Hi JamesC,
Unfortunately, no. Seems the situation has changed. Even though the files were showing up within the Downloads App, ES File Explorer, and Android File Transfer, I restarted the phone later that day and went to go pull a screen shot this morning and the files do not show up in any of these locations.
Initially, I suspected it may have not been a permissions issue but rather an existence issue as originally all of those methods above to view files could see the files, but none of them would be able to play the files; however, the adb shell (command line interface from computer to browse file structure on android phone) could not view the files.
Looks like the deletion of the Arlo app and reinstallation of the app also deleted the saved videos then. That's weird and an odd behavior. Could still be a permissions thing maybe.
Before when I could view the files, the errors I was getting:
Android File Transfer: Cannot replace the file (generic permissions error even though I'm copying and pasting the file)
ES File Explorer to Dropbox: Do not have the required permissions
Downloads App: Permissions Error
