I have the Arlo app installed on my iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2, with Push notifications set for just the iPhone. Yesterday morning when I left home, I got the Geofencing notification that the system was armed. However, when I got back home last night, I did not get the notification that the system had disarmed. This had been working fine since I installed my system on Saturday. I tested this scenario a few times on Sunday and it worked perfectly.
Having not changed any settings since Saturday night, I checked all the settings and everything looked good. I then set the system to Armed and walked around the house. I did not get any Push notifications on the iPhone. Checking the library in the app on my iPhone, I found the recordings that were just made. I then just happened to look at my iPad, and the notifications were there! Again, I only have Push notifications set for the iPhone and NOT the iPad. How is this even possible? Has anyone else seen this behaviour?
Regarding Push notifications, I'm curious as to exactly how these work. When motion is detected, does the base station send the Push, or does it send something to the Arlo cloud and the Push is sent from there? If sent from the cloud, could there have been some system glitch yesterday?

TBMK, the base does not emit the push... the push comes from Netgear's system at the far end.
As to a Geofence glitch, could be,loss of a gps signal or service may also be a problem
but also be aware if you log out from the IOS app you will not get pushes or geozone, you have to exit by swipe or main home button ( so app stays running )
As to the push showing up on the OTHER device, it's interesting, Hasn't happen before but I guess there always a possiblitiy if both devices are active and use the same sign-in / email...could be a bug , unknown
If you really don't need pushes on the ipad, you can also turn off notications on the ipad under settings > arlo app > uncheck notify
Morse is faster than texting!

Thanks for the reply.
Whenever I leave the app, I always just hit the home button to go back to the home screen, or double-tap the home button to select another running app. I have yet to log out of the app on either device.
I have turned off notifications on the iPad. Don't really need them on that device. However, it still doesn't explain how the notifications went to that device when only the iPhone was selected to receive them.
