Primary on Account adding friends/spouse with the Basic Plan

With the new App will it be easier to add a friend/spouse to notifications. Because I'm the primary on the account and my husband and I both have smartphones. But for some reason the currnet app will not allow him notifications to the account. I have the the basic plan. I have tried several times.

With the Grant Access feature you can share account access with friends. This includes live viewing and notification features. You can find more information here: How do I add friends to my Arlo account?
