Notifications upon Motion detection

I stopped getting push notifications because the Arlo Mobile app stopped running (Force Stop was greyed). I uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app and notifications started working again.

 

What would cause the app to stop running?

The operating system (Android 5.1.1) was turning off the app. In order to keep it running you have to go to Settings>Protected Apps and turn on protection for the apps you want to keep running. Seems to be working ok now.

This sounds like it could have been a memory issue on the phone.

 

Have you encountered this issue since reinstalling the mobile app?
