Night vision

Is there a setting or something to still have night vision without the red lights? Better yet any lights?

Yes, in Settings for each device is a night vision setting.  That simply turns off the IR illuminators but if there's enough background light you can still record.  Also, except for the Q cameras, there should be no LEDs normally on.  With the Q you have the ability to have a status LED on or off.
