Pro's:

1- streaming response seems faster

2- video seems sharper and clearer

3- Overall layout is ok with some con's

Con's:

1- the icons are very very small. Can barley see battery and wifi indicator 

2- No more green man indicating mode

3- still no time stamp

The jury is still out.

UPDATE AFTER 12 HOURS OF USE

Pro's:

1- video seems sharper and clearer

2- Overall layout is ok with some con's

Con's:

1- the icons are very very small. Can barly see battery and wifi indicator 

2- No more green man indicating mode

3- still no time stamp

4- Streaming is slow to respond and sometimes needs multiple attemps

5- No (X) button to close video in library. (ios app)

6- Camera adjustments are hidden and hard to find

7- 2 new modes are the same as the old modes "ALL ON" and "ALL OFF"

8- No noticable new features.

9- Without any new features or performance enhancements I don't see the reason for the upgrade. Put the time and effort into addressing the issues that have been reported about this system rather than changing the color of a button or two.

Things are a bit slicker... but the main reason for the update is to obv intergrate the new Q cam.

I do wish the 'running man' was green again , now just black for on , gray if off

New modes ( ARMED/UNARMED ) are same but if you notice then have also only default rules... all other old modes should be there but are CUSTOM with custom rules included

Best thing I see so far is 1) pushes are now by camera not just on-off 2) mem storage limits are gone ( not 100% sure) but now only days of storage; 7, 30, 60 based on level 3) recycle bin gone so delete means delete

They have also added night vision on/off so the cameras can finally be pointed out a window without reflecting back and making the video useless.
