Motion detection is inconsistent

My front door has a camera that is set at motion detection. I usually detects cars that drive by but doesn't catch a person until they are right in front of the camera. Other times it won't catch a car at all. It is set at 100% sensitivity because it isn't catching people soon enough. What I want is pretty much the opposite.

I believe you were experiencing a region based issue that affected a small number of Arlo users. I have made the following post in a few other threads:
The Arlo development team has isolated the cause and has resolved this issue. A small number of Arlo users in the Asia-Pacific region (including Australia) were affected and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We have taken steps to ensure that this problem does not occur again and added additional monitoring tools that will detect potential issues in the early stages so that user impact is minimized. Your patience in this process has been greatly appreciated.
