I have set one of my cameras in front of the house, to an angle I want so I can capture people from the moment they start walking into my property, I have the motion detection set all the way down to 25%, but the detection of cars passing by on the street are captured by the camera, if I lower the percentage to lower than that the camera start acting incurately. Any ideas experiences, tips... anything? I am starting to get bothered by so many motion detection notifications for something so stupid.

Positioning is trial and error.  While we understand that you've set it up the way you like, it apparently isn't optimal for how the motion detection works best.  A different position or angle may solve the issue or not.

Also, do a search in these forums for a shiled someone made with a short piece of 3/4" PVC pipe to prevent just this issue.  A few folks have tried it and it seems to work well.  It's cut at a 45 degree andgle and attached to the camera around the PIR sensor.  A rather clever solution that could be modified further according to your situation.
