Lag time between motion detection and camera recording?

I have a 4 camera set and would like to use 2 of them to cover my front door to avoid the time lag.  Is there a way?

Sure, just define rules and modes appropriately.  You can use one to trigger another as noted in other threads here.  A little experimentation should provide a useful solution.
