Hi all,

New to Arlo. I get alerts and a snapshot to my gmail account whenever motion is detected. Because of the way the web version of gmail works, when viewing messages, only the first alert with the subject "Arlo Has Just Detected Motion" will display the snapshot in line. The subsequent messages are considered part of the same thread and everything after the timestamp is considered "expanded contant", so I have o click on the 3 dots and select "show trimmed content" to see the image.

If the subject could be modified to include something unique, like the timestamp, gmail would not thread the messages and I could browse through the messages quickly for images that I want to investigate.

This is a minor nuisance, but I was hoping someone else might have already found a solution.

Thanks

Andy

Gmail app or browser? I don't see a way to change the app but from a browser you can edit your settings (gear icon top right) and change the Conversation View in the General tab to Conversation View Off. Save at the bottom.

Edit - yeah, this doesn't change the email subject t but does break the conversation apart.

Or you could use the FILTER option that comes with most email prgms and just have the mails sent to a separate folder.
