Hi Community, great site!

I would like to see better access controls when granting access to users.

For example, I have granted my wife access to the Arlo Q for baby monitoring.  But she cannot use the microphone / speakers option unless I give her full control.

I would like to fine tune the access.  Ie allow use of the mic / speakers / download videos.  But maybe not allow her delete video or change any modes or camera settings.

Is this being worked on at all?

Thanks

kev001,

At this time, it is intended for users that do not have access rights, to not have access to these features.

Take a look here for a list of other features that Grant Access users have (or do not have based on Access Rights) available to them: What privileges do my friends have when I grant them access rights in my Arlo account?

This is all fine, but I dont want anyone other than myself deleting videos.

Please consider this in a future revision.

I want my wife who I have granted access to Arlo Pro camera, to be able to use the microphone feature, it is not useable in her app.

Did you also use the Allow Access Rights option in Grant Access?

She has a habit of turning things off and deleting things she shouldnt.

If I allow access rights she would have these features correct?
