By default the video length is set to 10 sec. If there is a movement for 60 sec will the camera record all 60 in 10 sec videos or only the initial 10?

No, it will record 10 seconds, reset (takes several seconds), and will record more IF the motions is still of the detectable type. Motion towards the camera may not be detected, etc.  Thus, you may only get one video or possibly more.  The Q camera has a setting to record as long as motion is detected, up to 5 minutes.  The wireless cameras don't.

The usual solution is to set the recording time longer so the lack of detectable motion isn't an issue.

This was done manually but still shows it records entire time it's set for.

I have a 7 minute video from an Arlo Plus camera set to record up to 2 min. How did that happen? Not complaining, as I would prefer it to record as long as it detects motion and deal with the battery later, but wondering what caused it.
