I have the Arlo Wireless Camera and the Arlo Q. The wireless works fine with all operating systems. The Q works fine with my ethernet connected desktop PC runing Windows 10 but exhibits strange behavior with my iPad 2 running the latest IOS app.
During the day, the iPad immmediately notifies me when someone approaches the front door and I can immediately broadcast my voice to the Q speaker. But the voice response and video can take 2-3 minutes to get back to me as the "wait" thingy spins around. Totally useless unless I just want to say "Just a minute please", which they hear right away.
But during the night the iPad is much more responsive, giving me audio and video in about 15-20 seconds.
I don't have anything in my router set to differenciate day from night. And I don't have any other devices set to run only in the day.
Any ideas?

Hometheatremave,
Are you using your ipad on mobile data or are you connected to your WiFi network?
Do you have any other mobile devices that behave the same way or is this exclusively the iPad 2 (mobile phones)?

I only have Wifi connectivity, no data. I haven't noticed anything else slowing down with the iPad 2 or with other devices connected to the network. Very strange behavior.

Hometheatremave,
I have not been able to replicate this using an iPad 2. What version of iOS is your device running? Have you tried updating to the latest version?
Did this just start occurring or have you always seen this behavior?

I have IOS 9.3.2, which I think is the latest version. I have never had this problem with my Arlo Wireless camera, only with the Q.
I have tried the Q on both my 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands with similar results.
But with my OLD netbook running Windows 7 Starter and my desktop running W10, no delay more than 5-10 seconds on the Q.

Hometheatremave,
Do you have any other mobile devices you could test this on? (iPhone, Android mobile device?)
Do you get the same behavior?
