You need to either manually switch between motion on and off or set up a schedule if it fits your needs. You can't disable notifications any easier.

Im disappointed to hear this news (above). For example my driveway cam needs to be sensitive to pick up the cars in the driveway (its a long driveway) but then I get an app noification constantly with nothing (no motion) showing in the recording.
As well, my rear cam was constantly recording ghost images regardless of the setting, 80, 75 even 50%, again no movement in the recordings and now the batterys are dead just after a few days.
BTW all, your cams should be on 24/7... statistcally burglars hit houses during the day and they hit cars in the night. I do not see an option to control recording on a schedule for the individual cams...

Positioning and sensitivity settings are all you can control and potentially take a lot of trial and error to get the right position/settings. This also affects battery life - rechargeables can help lower the overall cost.
As for scheduling individual cameras, it's all in the rules and modes that you then use in the schedule. You can set up multiple cameras in a mode or use one camera to trigger another. You may not be able to do what you desire but there's a fair amount of flexibility built into rules and modes.
