How do I create a new mode for my Arlo Q and Arlo Q Plus cameras?

Can you creat a custom mode that allows you to pick a subset of cameras and then schedule them by time?  I see how i can setup the mode with rules but i have to arm it and turn it off each time but not how to schedule on / off by time.

Yes. Use the schedule to select a mode and schedule the time you want it to be run. Just edit the schedule and check it out.

But how do I select only a subset of cameras from the basestation cameras.  I guess i wasnt clear.  I have some inside and out.  I only want the exterior ones to be on a set schedule.

Create a new mode with rules for ONLY the cameras you want active.  A camera with no rule is disarmed. Then place the specific rules in the proper times in the schedule.
