How can I limit geofencing to two devices inside the house and leaving one device outside armed?

In other words, when I am inside the house, I want the outside device armed.  When I leave the house, I want all devices armed.  Get me?  When I tried to configure, it set for all devices, not just one device.

Thanks in advance.

By devices...I'm assuming you mean cameras ?

You'll need two modes for this - one with all cameras in it and another for only the desired ones.  Sounds like you'd use the second, limited, mode for use while inside GF and the first for out of the GF range. Use the Mode tab, click on your base and create new modes (leave Armed alone for reference and troubleshooting).  When creating a new mode, you can only add one camera rule.  Save and reedit that mode to add cameras.  Any mode that doesn't have a rule for a camera will leave that camera disarmed.

Thanks - maybe not the right answer to my question.  what I want is when I enter the home, I want inside cameras to stop detecting motion - by choosing the geofencing mode. When I leave the home, I want all three cameras to detect the motion based on geofencing automatically.  I do not want to switch to either mode manually.   If you think it can be done, please list the steps.  Thanks.again.

Experiment. You still need two modes - one for when you've left home and one when you return. You just use GF instead of the schedule.

Still not clear - will geofencing switch between two modes without involving me?

When you use GF, leaving the house will switch to whatever you've used for Away mode, as defined in the GF settings.  Returning wil use whatever you've chosen in the Home mode.  So, Away Mode may use the Armed mode so all cameras are active and Home Mode will use the Disarmed mode or maybe your schedule, if you have one set.

Am still struggling - I want to set geofencing - how do I set custom mode including geofencing?  What I want is to set one mode with geofencing that all three cameras are to be one when away from home and the other mode with geofencing that the exterior camera is only on when inside the home (other two cameras are disabled).  Can you give me steps to do?

Have you read through the FAQs and tried setting GF up?  Here's one FAQ:

Based on your description, you need to create a new mode that has just two cameras in it.  Use the Mode tab, click on your base and use the Add A Mode button.  Step through the process, defining one camera and its settings. Save.

Then you simply step through the GF setup process. First you set the location and detection radius. Next you set what mode you want to use when away (Away Mode), such as Armed since all cameras will be active.Do the same thing for the next step, the Home mode. Use that newly-created mode for only the one camera.  Save and activate the Geofence mode.
