I'm using the App on an iPhone 6 running IOS version 9.3.2. My App is randomly switching back to the away mode in geofencing even though I don't have it active.

Let me explain:

I tried out the geofencing feature after the update and it worked great. I setup my home address, picked my modes for home and away and it worked all day and night while I was in and out of my house yesterday.

However, I deactivate and picked a different customer mode that I created because my wife would be home all day but I keep getting notifications from camera's that are not in my customer mode. When I logged into the App it showed the mode as the one I have as away(armed) when geofencing is turned on. I thought maybe I accidentally picked it so I picked my custom mode again and went on with my day. An hour later the pattern starts all over, I log into the App and the mode I have set as away under geofencing is on. The only time the green dot has been next to geofencing was yesterday when I selected it. THis has happened numerous time throughout the day so far.

I'm almost tempted to unistall and reinstall the App but really don't want to.

I have the same problem as described. Haven't tried to delete and reinstall the app, but this may be the next step. I was happy to see the new 'fence' utility in the 2.1.0 version, but now I'm just want the good 'old' 2.0.3 app version back.

I had the same issue. My iPhone showed as out of zone and my wife who is still home shows unavailable so it defaults to away. I was not home at the time. I got home from work and decided to uninstall the app on her phone and nothing. I then uninstalled mine. Decided to take both phones for a walk to see if this fixed it. It did. I was surprised to see how far away I had to get (300 yards) for it to swap. I'm just happy it's working though.

I have the exact same issue, really frustrating. How can I turn it off.

I've tried logging out and back in to the app, unistalling and reinstalling and even removing my locaiton from the mode and it still does it.

i think netgear hates it's customers, it's a cruel joke...so annoying.

i had to change the stupid geofencing location to california...seems like a temporary fix.
