The geo fence mode looks promising with the exception when we turn in for the night I want my camera's to rearm to motion detection at a pre set time. All my cameras are outside and would like for them to be watching entry points while we sleep. Is this possible?

Using the geofence implies that you're home so have the Home Mode to schedule, Armed or a custom mode you've created.

Where would I find the info on how to set this up as you discribe?

There may be an FAQ on this (haven't looked) but I just went through the geofence setup and then edited it to check on things. I thought it was pretty straight forward. Try it and post specific questions.

I attempted to set "schedule" when Geofence was Home, but it does not appear to be working.  My schedule cutoff at 7am, but the Arlo recorded at 8am when I was leaving the house.  I assume it ignored the "schedule" that I pre-set.  I'm sure that is why Netgear put a Beta brand on this.  They knew the shortcomings and wanted to get this out to market.  I just hope the next update to improve this is shortly adhead.

Yes, a few wrinkles still... but they will be ironed out.

I am having the exact same problem. Scheduled arm ends at 7am and phone are in the home geofence zone, yet the cameras recorded this morning. Worked well for about a week; today is Sunday, so maybe there's a problem with that particular day. Switching away from geofencing mode and back to it seems to fix this momentarily. Let's see how quickly the error occurs again.

I completely agree. I would like a mesh of schedule and Geofence. Being able to merge those rules into a custom plan would work great.

I still see the problem with Sunday as well as often recording when in home mode or even outright disarmed. The software end of this is a hot mess. Too bad Netgear appears to be lacking quality control engineers.

Consider refreshing your enabled devices within Geofencing settings. Disable all listed devices, save and then enable the devices again.

 

Also be sure the app stays logged in and is running on both mobile devices. If the app is logged off/not running Geofencing will not work.

Hi 

Geofencing is working allright but when changing to schedule mode when home is creating a problem. 

Schedule mode will activate at night but not deactivate in the morning. I cant see why reseting all my settings for Geo will help, can you?
