Hi,
when I turn on my alarm system, I would like to the alarm system to enable motion dection. Idea is that alarm systems calls some url, which enables the modtion detection. As I certainly don't want to turn that on and then open the arlo app and turn motion detection on manually.
The alarm system I'm using is Linux based. So I could use curl to access some URLs. I've already noticed there doesn't seem to be an offcial API. And the regular web page seems to use Flash. Pitty as HTML5 offers all you need. But anybody with an idea of a workaround.
I really like Netgears set up as such. But without the link to enabling / disabling motion detection, it would be pretty useless to me.

drao,
Currently, to arm/disarm your Arlo system you must log in to the mobile app or the web client and manually set the mode. More ways to arm/disarm Arlo is however a great idea. I encourage you to visit the Arlo Idea Exchange and make a post there on this topic or kudo the existing threads.
