Email notifications without images

Some of my email notifications have images and some doesn't. This inconsistency is happening across all my devices. i.e., sometimes my living room camera will send notifications with an image, and sometimes the same camera sends it without an image. Same behavior is across my other devices. 

 

Does anyone know why?

That isn't right.  Email notifications should always have a thumbnail. AFAIK.  You can try power cycling the base but you may need to open a case with support.
