Can I set the cameras to record even if there is no motion?

I would like to have a mode that records for a certain time even if there is no motion.  Is it possible?

Only manually. You'd have to log in and manually record which can give you up to 30 minutes for battery life reasons.

I was also hoping to do this. Why not allow a camera to record based on a schedule? And although I understand the battery issue, it would still be worth it for me to be able to record longer blocks of time when I need to.

Check out the Arlo Q camera being shown on these pages. It's powered so it can stream the whole time. Trying to do that with a battery system would be an exercise in battery changes.
