Can Arlo take still shots? how?

Can Arlo take still shots and e.mail for alerts. 

 

If not suggestion to the developers ... this would be lighter for our ISPs and quicker and easier to view ...

Currently, email and app alerts are available - use app alerts to reduce ISP interaction. The wireless cameras will only record video while the Q camera supports snapshots.  However, the use of 10 second videos (the shortest ones selctable) would keep data usage as low as possible.
