Two things:
1) motion is at the camera, the worst direction for any PIR motion detection scheme
2) motion is slow, making it less likely to be detected
Move the camera so motion is ACROSS the field of view, not at the camera.

So, the engine is in the front? Yeah, not sure you're ever going to get a motion event triggered by that truck.
Do you have a tree in your front yard you could mount your camera to? That would allow you to trigger off those right-to-left motions by your truck, possibly triggering a motion-based video.
Wait, what are you trying to capture here? Your truck pulling into the driveway, or people approaching your truck? So, the current positioning does not catch people walking up to your truck?
Again, mounting the camera on a tree in your front-yard would create a field-of-view for side-to-side motion.
