Ok,so these battaries are not cheap, just bought 4 lithium ion for $18 a battary ...installed them, put the cam in position...turn on ...10 minutes later the battary shows %79....whhaaattt? Im regetting buying a wireless cam....its costing me an arm and a leg" i supposedly bought the cam to protect me from loosing my limbs"! If u know what I mean...why is draining the battary so fast? I have my settings on schedual, motion on from 1 am till 7 am. And battary saving mode that compromised video quality option selected.. My wifi sig is at 80%.... i tried to move the router closer, but its a hassle. So what to do in this situation? Any advice?

$18 a pop? Wow. Where do you shop? Is that US dollars or some other country's dollars? Or did you mean $18 for a set of four?

Decent one-way CR123 batteries can be had for around US$2. There are many threads on the topic of batteries. Try the search.

How about rechargeables? These are somewhere around US$5-6 per piece. Plus you need a charger.

I bought NiteCores from fasttech.com in January and a NiteCore D4 charger from Amazon USA. Pretty decent set up.

How much footage do you record per day?

I bought 50 batteries for under $2 each when I first bought my cameras. But I'm still I on the original batteries from Christmas!

For my avg use cameras on BEST video, they run 4 months... On a couple lightly use cams about 7.

Remember that spec use is 4 mins per day... these are motion - record type cameras and once set up properly work fairly well.
