Every time I log-in to My Arlo, the auto update comes on.  I have to wait before checking videos.  Why is this happening.  Apparently there is

nothing ever updated.

mike515,

What do you mean by "auto update". Could you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Firmware updates for Arlo are automatic and will complete overnight. Is this what you are seeing?

There is a firmware update every time I login to my arlo.  Is this supposed to happen every time someone logs in?  The firware updated once correcty when I clicked an upate link myself in the Arlo Q settings.  The current version is 1.6.0_4333.  This never stopped Arlo netgear site from attempting to install a firware update each time I come back to the site.   Those automatic firmware upates do nothing more, they simply make me wait beore I can see a live camera feed.

mike515,

The firmware will update automatically overnight. It may be that the camera is active during the update window (3am-5am) keeping it from completing the update. Consider disarming the camera overnight and this should allow the update to complete.

There is a firmware update every time I log-in to myarlo to check my live feed or my library.  The firware updates neve stops.  It is a continuing problem.  The firmware is never updated.  That's why the firmware update repeats whenver I go back to check my videos.  Is this because I am using the free version?

Nope, the plan isn't the issue.  The latest firmwares are:

Base - 1.7.5_6178

Camera - 1.2.4941

You can try restarting everything by power cycling the base and opening and closing the camera doors.  Maybe it will help, maybe not.

This did not do anything,   Dissappointed that this issue continues.  Is there a way I can receive technical support?  I will forward the issue.
