Get message that your Arlo app requires an update to continue. I say OK  ..  Then it show getting device infor loading , but just stay there. I can not get updated or into app no more. can not use right now.

Go directly to the Google or IOS app store and force a download of the new app. That worked for me.

He is right, I went to app store and redown loaded the arlonetgear app, my ipad would not update, hour upon hour so by going  to app store it worked, I think

Now the problem is they wont answer a call to the tech support, I have waited 1-1/2 hours and I have the elite service. something is smelly from them

Working now, when online to my Arlo site, open up arlo. Then i was able to open my App to update.  Thanks  for everyone help

There's no reason for this not to be resolved as of yet. I shouldn't have to redownload an app.

What issue are you having with the app update? I tested this on an iOS device and an Android device and neither had issues updating. What device model and OS version are you using? Are you getting any error messages when trying to update?

My android LG phone has the same message reappearing that "Arlo uapp requires and update to continue"  I tried updated with no luck i also removed the App all together and reloaded it with no success.  It just keeps prompting me to update.  I can access my station and camera using my Samsung tablet which is also android based.  My work PC also works for me to view video but is limited.  Do you have any other alternatives otherwise I will return the product
