I've received my set of cameras last night and set up one of them to test before I take them to their permanent location.  In navigating through the settings I deleted the "All motion off" setting by mistake for the camera I've setup.

Is there a way to get this back? I don't want to use the motion on setting at all times.  I've tried to add it but it didnt work out for me or I might be doing it wrong all together.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You can't recover it but you can recreate it like any other rule.  Go to Settings, Modes (under Base Station) and click on the Add at the top. Now you can call it whatever you want - just make sure all cameras are not selected (black, not green).  Save and you're all set.

So I was able to re-create a new mode and in doing that I found out you need to create a rule before you can add a new mode.  This is where it gets more confusing.  I'm trying to re-create the pre-configured "All motion off" setting that the base came with.  I didnt see any options in creating a new rule for just to NOT record so I lowered the sensitivity.  Also, even with the new mode/rule I can not switch to the new mode (motion off)  so it can stop recording when motion is found.

Can anyone share the pre-configured rule for their "all motion off" mode? or should i just reset the base and go from there?

Thanks again!

True enough - sorry for missing the Rules part.

We can't share the rule/mode since there's no way to download it.  You just have to create it yourself.  I suppose resetting would do the job but that seems a bit extreme.  Try this FAQ page and see if it helps:

I have a rule for each camera to set it up the way I like to record. Here's screen shots of how my rules are applied to the appropriate mode:
