What a great use of the cameras. Thanks for the glimpse into otherwise usually hidden worlds. I hope you post more once the babies are born.

The first hatchling appeared yesterday but the process was not seen. This is the second of two hatchlings emerging.

OH my goodness! They are so adorable! Dad really takes a great interest in the babies. And mom is certainly suspicious of that ever present eye staring at her home. Last summer my neighbor had a house sparrow nest in her hanging plant on her front porch. I didn't have Arlo then but I took manual pictures everyday from the day the eggs were laid. It was amazing to see the daily changes in the chicks - everyday getting bigger and more feathered. Then, one day, they were just gone! An empty nest with a broken egg shell was all they left. Amazing how these wonderful creatures bless our lives. Keep the videos coming!

We lost one chick today to a hungry Black Bird.

The predator that took the one chick yesterday must have found it tasty.  It took the other two this morning. The chicks were presumably food for some larger bird's chicks.
