Not at this time. Nothing stopping you from painting it as long ASN you're careful about the front black area with the lenses and motion detector.

Serious marketing or design (or both) failure if that wasn't considered up front.
Likely that design was tasked with an indoor design, then marketing expanded the scope to outdoor/water-proof but forgot to take the next logical step.
Black housings are offered as add-ons but not offered with a system? That's broken too!

Plasti-Dip is fun stuff .... if you keep it off fingers and other critical parts (joints, lenses, fasteners).

I would also prefer the black version of the camera housings since color white is noticeable at dark.

I understand the desire for other colors but it's actually the black faceplate that is my issue. Not everyone has the need for light or dark colors but in my case the black faceplate is what sticks out.

I'm thinking if I would paint the cameras black, would they still be covered by warranty? Just a thought.

Can't speak for the company but I dong see why not as long as you didn't go crazy and just dip the whole thing into a bucket of paint.

if you do paint the cameras black, make sure they are mounted where they wont see direct sunlight. the cameras in black in direct sunlight would likely cook the batteries and the internal components.

Yeah, I agree to this esp when using rechargeables they tend to get too hot.

I am testing rechargeables, they are the protected type, and they are not getting hot. I did try the unprotected type as well and they got really hot to the touch. I decided not to use those again and immediately removed them from the camera before any damage occurred, due to me not knowing how much the camera can take.
