Can someone explain to me why Arlo Q is so expensive ($200+). I understand there are lots of work into making the wireless Arlo camera low power and last 4-6 months. But for Arlo Q... It is powered by wire and it is nothing more special than something like DLink or Trednet wireless camera, which cause much less (these also have motion sensor, IR night vision, 2-way audio. Well the only feature I can think of is 1080p which Arlo Q has.
To me the Arlo Q should be priced lower then the wireless Arlo camera.
What do you guys think?

I have no doubt the 'penny control' guys have gone over their books re the price of R&D,overhead, profit, etc.... not to mention compared prices to whats on the market.
You have a better rez camera and detection system in the Q over arlo. Price is about what the other cams run.
You still have to make money these days to develop new products...
