What makes the cameras only usable on the listed countries?

I've really interested to buy these cameras. I live in Colombia, and I usually use my visa credit card to buy things or services in USA, i'd like two buy a kit to use it here in my country, but i dont see colombia listed. Is because you dont accept international credit cards? or is just for support/warranty matters?

We have not launched paid subscription options yet in Colombia. Arlo will work for you without issue, provided you meet the system requirements and intend to use the Basic subscription, which is included without any additional monthly cost.
