What fabric can be used to hide Arlo but not interfere with the view? Like the Arlo clock device. Thank you.

I get what you're saying, you want to completely cover the camera behind some fabric so no one can see the camera.
Any fabric is going to block or distort the view. A loose-knit fabric, like you might see on home speakers could work, so long as it's right up against the lens, it will block some light and mess with the focus and night vision.
The other option is to build a clear polycarbonate box and apply a reflective tint to the outside. Place the camera inside the box.

If you put it in a box, then the motion sensors are likely to be messed up - probably the same for putting it behind fabric

go to a fabric store and hold some of the darker fabric up to the light... if you can see thru them, they MAY work... testing is something you'll have to do. Look for a looser weave.
But the rule of thumb is if you can see light thru it, IR can go thru too. ( think of the screens use on back windows of cars... from inside they almost disappear, outside hard to see thru ) so a dark container prob helps too ( like the box )
search for like see thru camo;
more options;
