Hi
already having several Arlo's, I've just ordered two Arlo Q's for indoor use (what a pity they're not waterproof, would love to use them outside as well!)
Now a few hours later, I realised there's also the PLUS model with the option to insert a memory card.
It seems like the differnce is the little ethernet dongle that comes with the Q plus.
My question is:
Is it possible to upgrade the standard "Q" by buying this extra dongle?
Or does the PLUS have the memory slot built in and not in the dongle?
Thx
Rob

1) Nope
2) Built-in.
They could possibly be used outdoors if you provide appropriate housing/protection.

In addition to the previous posters, the memory card will only act as a backup, the memory will not act as a primary storage device, unfortunately.

Apparently, according to what's been posted here, the card will be the main storage during Internet outages. Whether you consider this primary or backup even with Internet connection depends on your point of view.
