Have hard wired 4 cameras with12V 1A dc power supplies, 2 are working fine, the other 2 power up ok and go online ok but go off line after several hours. Anyone have any ideas why? Unpluging the supply will get them up again but the cycle will repeat itself. THX for any help

Simple... the cameras don't take 12v ! Prob right at the edge for max voltage and the chips maybe overheating...dropping out.
When you run at the edge sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Read thru the threads ... the 2 sets of cells are basically in parallel so the voltage would be closer to 6.4 max with OEM or 8.4 with Li-ION.
