Can the base station be adapted to run on 12 vdc?

How long do the batteries last in the stand alone battery operated camera. 

We just purchased our first arlo and need everything to run on battery because we travel in an rv.

Yes the Arlo base does run on 12v dc. ....The adapter from ac converts to same at 1.5a max.

The plug is about a 5.5 mm coaxial plug with center positive 

My batteries at best video run almost 4 months... The very low use cams they last almost 7.

Mind that these are motion activated record and spec use is about 5 min per day of live view/ record.

( sound low low but for design is pretty good)
