Due to that Arlo is a proprietary system wifi extanders do not work. To be able to get more out of your system for example a camera in the garage or in another building wifi extending needed. What is happening? Shouldn´t that be priority one ref products? Or you will lose a lot of clients when realising there is not sufficient reach.

The answer to above is using multiple bases....

Netgear does NOT limit the number of bases on any level account ( nor limits location ).  So the only way to expand the area is by mulit bases at different access point , esp if you have multi buildings

( netgear only limits the # of cameras on your service level.. you can run a base and 3 cams at home and a base and 2 cams at a vacation home and still be on the Basic ( free ) plan )

It is not a cost issue for me. It is a functional question. What is the reach with more bases? And how does they work together? And how to make them to reach longer and also longer reach from base to cameras. /k hakan

The reach of each base is limited by the distance, blockage due to wireless interference or materials in the path of the signal. How you position the bases to maximize reach is only limited by your ability to put them in appropriate places. They don't need to overlap each other.
