Seems that after the app update on 13 June 2017, my base station when offline since then without restoring any connections to the cameras. Done everything that was recommended but nothing has changed.

An app update, should not have effected the base and or cameras... but the device it was on.
Have you tried a PC at https://arlo.netgear.com/
What are the base LEDS showing ?
Have you tried to resync a camera is the base leds are green ?
