Hi

I am the owner of several VMS3330 systems with cameras dependins on battery

this is really a burden (time and costs), good for retirees or jobless people

is it possible to upgrade my 7 cameras with the new battery system of Arlo pro?

or any alternative?

or an exchange program?

Thanks

Philippe

There's no exchange/upgrade program for any of the cameras.  You have to purchase new.

But you can use rechargeable RCR123A batteries for the Arlo\s.  Netgear recommends the Tenergy 3.7 V ones which may be easy or hard to get depending on where you live. (in Canada and US on amazon.com and amazon.ca)

Thanks

For non US or CA customers , there are some alternative rechargeable products on the net (such s PPower)

ppower advertises 3000 mah @ 3.7v      Seems way too high. so I'd be very wary.

Agreed.  If the rated capacity is much above 650-700mAH, it's a bogus claim.  Also, the cheap ones don't have the over- and under-voltage protection built-in that has caused some cameras to be damaged.  I tossed (recycled) my cheap crap batteries a long time ago.
