second arlo wireless camera doesn't show up in "mode" so i can't arm/disarm camera

just added a second camera to base station. i can get the live view but do not see it under "mode" so i am unable to arm/disarm the camera; any ideas?

Just to be clear, in the Modes tab, you're clicking on the base station and then checking modes, right?  Some folks stop when they see the base and don't click on it.

 

First thing I'd try would be to remove the camera under Settings, My Devices and resync it.  If that fails, your only recourse may be to remove all devices, perform a factory reset and start over.
