Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked but I'm stuggling with this. I've got a camera watching my drive and front door. I can walk around my drive and watch it live on my tablet so I know it's picking the motion up, but nothing records until I open the front door and am 2 foot away from the camera. I've tried making the picture smaller so it covers a smaller area but it won't save the settings.

I'll try to get a snap shot up.

Many thanks

Emma

Emma...

Have you adjusted the amount of sensitivity?

( MODE >ARMED - edit ">" - pick camera > MOTION DETECTED - edit ">" and adjust slide bar ...then SAVE as you back out )

Hi,

Yep, I've set it to 100, then to 10 and then back to the default 80%. Nothing. I've just tested again by walking across drive and in through the front door. It said I had a recording (great) but when I went into the library there was nothing there. Back to devices and a big fat 0 here too now.

Not sure if this helps or not but I have another camera watching my garden. It didn't record the break in the other day but is recording everything  that moves on the outside of the garden. So one is recording too afr away and the other is only recording close up motion.

Im sure it's something Im doing wrong as the reviews say it's a really simple system.

Many thanks,

Emma

OK, I can only recommnd what may work, tho it may be a bit of pain...

1) get the cameras and open the battery doors to re-set them.

2) go to base and SETTINGS > CAMERA > REMOVE DEVICE, remove the cameras from your base.

3) Power reboot the base via the power button. wait the 1-2 mins for it to come back online ( first two green leds )

4) close camera battery doors and bring the cameras back as new ( resync to base )

Doing above will place the default settings for the cameras just in case they were off somehow.

In using cameras a few tips... the sensor for people is max'ed at about 20ft, so try not to cover an area much bigger then the range of the sensor.

Also detect seems better on the edges of the PIR ( sensor ) to detect people so try and place where the movement is accross the view.

I also find the settings at about 85-90% to be plenty for out side ( tho cameras may differ ) so adjust in small amounts at a time per day to see what changes.

Hope this helps.
