I have the basic Arlo that came with two cameras. I am trying to add 3 more. I have followed the instructions to add a camera but it is not showing up on my screen. The install of the new camera worked as directed, just no display.

Try logging out and back in. Use both the app and browser. Which worked?

Did NOT fix it. When I set up the original two units about 6 months ago, did the same thing and then a day or so later, the cameras appear on screen.

Tryed syncing again. got blue blinking light on camera but cannot see it on app or arlo log on. I am not seeing the CR code on the screen to scan it in.
WHAT NOW! JUST SPENT $500 FOR ADDITIONAL CAMERAS THAT WILL NOT CONNECT.

Since you're not getting the sync successful tone (or at least you don't mention it), I'd reset the camera using the reset button until the camera clicks and the LED flashes amber and sync again. Of course, this assumes you're talking about the Q camera.
Edit: Went back and looked at the original post. Ya gotta make sure you're talking apples to apples here. That post implies the wireless cameras, not Q. The wireless cameras have no QR code and never did. A successful sync of these cameras would be indicated by a slow blue LED followed by rapid blue. I don't know what state your system is in right now so I'd suggest:
1) Reset the base using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber.
2) Remove all devices found in Settings, My Devices.
3) Add the base to the account using the Add Device button on the Devices tab.
4) Sync the cameras by pressing the base sync button briefly (don't hold it) and then the sync button on a camera. Repeat for the other.
