Have you adjusted the sense level down a bit?

Try and lower about 1-2% max at a time till till works well....

as to wasps, I had to spray the area around one of my cameras with a wasp type killer, wet down the wood and they stop coming by.

It isn’t easy to achieve, since a bug on the camera looks as big or bigger as a truck in the yard.  I would assume the new smart notifications on the newer cameras help with that problem, since the bug may be big, but still doesn’t look much like a person or vehicle.   My Nest and Ring Devices have the same issue.
